The One That Got Away

Today I went shopping with my mom at KLCC and being the usual MANGO addict, I wouldn't miss paying a visit to the outlet =) . I saw this tiered maxi dress a long time ago and didn't really pay attention to it until I knew that maxi dresses are the IT trend for the summer. So, I decided to give it a try since it was the last piece on the rack.. (There's a lady who even asked me where do I get that dress...But I told her it was the last piece..hehehehe ..I think she would rock the style cuz she has the height)

When I put the dress on...I was like: Oh my gosh!!! I love it!!! I love how the skirt flows and there's hidden pockets by the side...I love the boho feel it exudes...However, it wasn't really practical to wear it..Seriously, I couldn't think of any occassion to wear it in Malaysia...Maybe when I'm having luncheon by the park with friends???? How often do I have lunch by the park anyways??? And it's way too casual for a wedding dinner....LOL...It's also retailing at RM 115.00.. Well, a tad too expensive I think and I would have to buy a pair silver/gold of thongs to match the dress too... I ALMOST wanted to get it.My mom zaps me back to reality by asking the sensible question, "When are you going to wear it ???" and I answered , "The model (Milla) wears it to the beach in the photoshoot". Both of us burst out laughing and left the outlet.Gosh, I love shopping with my mom. I couldn't stop thinking about the dress though.
