Malaysia or Not Malaysia????

As I was just back from the so-called Merdeka countdown with the Clan at the Curve (the main reason was actually to watch The Love Guru..Haha funny movie, btw), it reminded me of the questions that have been asked by many people..

" Have you ever think of migrating overseas?"

Without hesitation, my answer would always be a resounding yes. Then, without fail, the subsequent questions would be...

"Why??? Won't you missed your family and friends here?"
"And how about everything that you've established here?"

Of course I would missed them...But because maybe I haven't been staying in overseas before, so I would like to try living in a different country for a change...And it always seems that the grass is always greener on the other side..Right????

But then again, I love staying in Malaysia because of the food and also because it's a safe country to live in, free from natural disasters...And I think it's one of the factors to be considered when I decide to migrate to a country...

But of course, if I were given a chance to live in overseas, I would jump at the chance...Maybe for a couple a years or so.. But after all, Malaysia is where my home is... Like they say, after all, we will fall back to where our roots are.

What about you guys?? Will you migrate or stay???

p.s. I couldn't help but feel a wee bit patriotic when we sang the "Negaraku" at the Curve just now. But I was a little saddened that some people were embarrassed to even sing our own National Anthem out loud.

Anyways, Selamat Hari Kebangsaan ke-51!!!

bout migrating, i used to love the idea, but when i think about havin to leave my family n friends, the idea kinda fall short. besides, i'm jz so used to the life here.

then again, haha i think if there's a special someone migrating wif me, then it's a diff thing all together.
