Short Cuts

With the recent trend of short hair cuts, I decided to jump on the bandwagon too. Since I have to give my Pob a little trim..Why not a change of style?? And hence I made up my mind to go for the pixie cut....

This time around, I went to Kimarie Hair Academy in Bukit Bintang for the hair make over cuz it's super cheap. Only RM 7 for cut and wash!! Super cheap ler??? Hahaha the reason is because I'm good-looking! my hair was cut by students of the academy. So technically, I'm like the experiment for the students to hone their skills... I know, it sounds so skeptical right.. To let your hair cut by a student...Haha no fret... They are actually supervise by professional hair stylists. Believe me, I've been there countless times since I was in my teens. (Although I only started to go back there again this year)

Since they have shifted from BB Plaza to a building opposite Federal Hotel, I decided to go to Kimarie instead of Thomas & Guy Hair Academy (Due to the shift, it actually leads me to Thomas & Guy the last time I got my hair cut before CNY). The minute the student lead me to the salon chair, I kindda regretted my decision of choosing Kimarie over Thomas cuz the interior design of Kimarie looks a bit old & dilapidated... Totally different from last time..

Anyways, after two hours sitting on the salon chair, may I present to you...

At first, I was so afraid that the style won't suit me so I did a little research to get some inspirations.. And here are my inspirations...

The minute I laid eyes on her in War of In-laws 2, I fell in love with her tres chic hair style. So I brought this pic to the salon and voila , my new pixie cut!

Well, actually I love Myolie's hair style too.. So sexy.. But since I doesn't have a sharp chin, I decided to go against it.. Maybe I'll try it someday...

Last but not least, the sexy and sultry Rihanna.. I think the picture says it all, right?Gorgeous! Especially her side swept bangs..

All in all , I'm in love with my new pixie cut! Initially, I didn't expect much cuz you know, they are like just students and it's only RM 7.But, thanks to the final touches by the professional hair stylist....It's exactly what I want...Oh ya, the best part is definitely the super cheap price !!!

Last week, I came across this How Vain Are You ???? test in one of the random blogs and decided to give it a shot....I have to say..I'm pretty pleased with the results...Still acceptable la...Muahahaha

I know some of you may beg to differ with my results....Anyways, here are my answers to the questions:

1)You check out your reflection in windows: Sometimes. To check that my hair looks okay. I'm not that vain to the extent of checking myself out everytime I see a mirror. Actually, I have a few friends who never failed to check themselves out as long as they can see their own reflection - even from a puddle of water!!!

2)Your closet is chock full of the latest styles, even if your credit card suffers for it a little: Rarely. I spend wisely but of course there's the occasional splurge for bags and jeans =)

3) You buy tons of personal care products, from expensive moisturizers to specialty shampoo: Rarely. Although I dont have the best complexion ..I think it's absurd to spend so much on skin care and hair products especially make-ups.

4) You dream of being a movie star or model : Always...Muahaha..Wonder what it's like to have a lifestyle of the rich and famous..Sigh..I could only dream....

5) If you started to lose your looks, your self esteem would likely suffer : Sometimes. But I'll get used to it..Looks isn't everything..Most importantly is to keep the beautiful heart that one has =)

6) If you weren’t happy with your looks in some way, you would consider cosmetic surgery : Maybe not now cuz I'm pretty happy with the way I am...So the answer would be rarely. Maybe when I'm old and my breasts are saggy..A little nip/tuck would be nice...LOL

7) You wear designer underwear : Designer underwear??? Yea...Victoria's Secret all the way down..LOL..Juz kidding...Does Triumph counted as designer???Oopsie~ too much info already =p.I NEVER have designer underwear..

8) Besides showering, it takes you at least 20 minutes to get dressed and primped for the day: Often. In total, I think I took 20 minutes for me to get dressed and primped...

9)You enjoy getting your picture taken : Often. It's because I look 10 times hotter standing beside my friends..LOL Juz kidding...Let's just say I'm pretty comfortable with myself..I have my vain moments too *_^

10)If you see someone of your gender who is hot, you immediately start silently critiquing them : Often. Actually that depends, if the person acts like a slut or a snob...then yeah..I'll definitely bitch about them...
