Last Sunday, HELP U.C celebrated the "very" belated mid autumn festival at HELP (d'oh!).
Was my first lantern festival celebration with my coursemates..Honestly, I won't give a darn about all these activities...But due to SOME obligations, my friends and I are forced to come T.T
However, many people turned up for the event because apparently HELP was trying to make it in the Malaysia Book of Records by lighting the most lanterns...But failed miserably because it was raining cats and dogs.Nonetheless, many people stayed for the event =)
Initially, we were supposed to help to sell the tix for the upcoming Student Council ball..But we were so pissed off with the way the Student Council treated us --- telling us that it's compulsory for each individuals to sell 3 tickets that day.How absurd is that???I mean who would bring that much money to a lantern festival????
Anyways, we went to the AIESEC booth instead and help them to sell mooncakes in order to collect donations for a girl with leukimia.

The opening ceremony was kicked off with the band playing myriads of musical instruments ranging from accordions to the "humongous" drums..
The Salsa Dance became a hit for the night ! Everyone's eyes was glued to the couple. Also, the Indian dancers amazed us with the formation of a small human pyramid =)

Despite the rain and some mishaps during the event (blackouts), we ended up enjoying each other's company that night. I had fun selling mooncakes x-D.
