On V-day or Singles Awareness Day (a shout out to all the singles out there!) , we went to Rakuzen in Plaza Damas to celebrate the overrated occasion.
We chose to have Japanese cuisine for the occasion as we figured Jap restaurants would not inflate their prices on this "special" day. Luckily, prior reservations were made as the place was fully booked until 9.30 p.m. that day.

Before I proceed, I'm sure some of you are wondering who were my "valentines" that day. Both my dates are often been labeled by me as snobbish and bitchy; not to mention that they're insanely beautiful -- on the inside and outside.
They are none other than........(*Drumrolls*)

And....
And not forgetting, yours truly ;-p
We quite fancy the interior of this Hartamas branch because all the seats are like a private booth. Our table is U-shaped, which IMO is pretty cool :)
We ordered 2 different set meals and some side dishes that night. So here goes......
The Unajyu set is actually sliced unagi(eel) served with rice in a bento. The set comes with miso soup, chawanmushi, fruits and some pickled radish. Tasted pretty good. Became Macho's fav instantly (she practically finished the whole thing). Costs RM38.
Actually, I've forgotten the name for this set. Basically, it's sashimi served with rice, chawanmushi, fruits, miso soup and some pickles. I think this set is quite worthwhile as they're not stingy on the sashimis. The sashimis were fresh too. Since Macho don't take raw food, Joozie and I finished the whole thing. Also costs RM38.
We ordered the chicken teriyaki as our side dishes. Tasted normal. Sorry, I can't recall the price of this dish.
We also had the shisamo (fish with billion eggs) as side dishes. Taste wise, it's pretty generic too. But I love 'em. Costs RM10.
After dinner, we went to watch Bride Wars in MV before proceeding to Murni for a late-night mamak session.
My gorgeous dates and I :-D
Oh by the way, I found some songs that I'm soooo crazy about from the Bride Wars O.S.T. Listen to them below!!
Hope you had a great V-day!
