On my 21st birthday, I celebrated with my 2 closest bitches , and they are none other than.....

On the afternoon was the usual movies and hanging out at the mall. But come night time, they brought me to this posh buffet restaurant, Latest Recipe at Le Meridien Hotel, KL.

We are the earliest patrons to reach that place and it was a bit awkward initially.. Hahaha cuz you know, it's so posh that you have to maintain your poise and everything...

But after we made our first round of browsing on the food, we kindda warmed up to the ambiance. So, our first order of the night was Teppanyaki & Sashimi.. Cuz the cooking station is the nearest to our table (That's why I was reeked of teppanyaki at the end of the day).

Being the typical Malaysian that we are, we ordered a combo of everything... Hahaha ROJAK ! The beef are juicy and tender ,while the chicken tasted normal.. The prawns were good too!

The butterfish and calamari were scrumptious too! Tasted a bit like the Chinese dishes cooked with custard (奶 油) .

Next up is the sashimi dish! They are one of the freshest that I've tasted! Definitely not stingy on the portion.They are actually 15 pieces before this pic was taken :)

Then we ordered Macho's favourite , the Spaghetti Cabonara.. Here we could choose any ingredients that we like.. So we chose lotsa hams, prawns and mussels....They were delicious too!

Halfway through the meal, Joozie freaked out that she won't have enough cash to settle the bill later...so she called her darling...

Okay..I was just kidding ! Just happened to capture her in that mysterious pose....

A preview of the cooking stations, where our orders are executed on the spot! In case you didn't notice, our food are brought to our tables after they were cooked.. We don't have to stand there and wait ;)

After our main course, we went for a little appetizers.. Hahaha I know..We terbalik wan..Lol.. Since Macho is not a fan of raw food, Joozie and I head for the oysters bar!

The oysters were okay.. Well, the size is kindda on the medium size...I guess you get what you paid for right?? But they are quite fresh. (And they work fine as aphrodisiacs!)

After that, we rested for a while for a little group pic!

Love us or hate us, you definitely won't get enough of us :)

Up next is the section that all of us are dying to get our hands on! The Chocolate Fountain! Every child's fantasy! Hahahaha ..And also ours la....

I personally like the dark chocolate. Both of them , on the other hand, preferred the milk choc.. I don't think any of us like the white choc.. Hahaha..

There are also grapes, marshmallows, biscottis and bite-size cakes for patrons to dipped into the fountain.

There's also the desserts bar which consists of different kinds of western desserts... Favourite section for sweet tooths like me!

The cinnamon cake is one of my favourite! And the tray is genius! We could take so many at one-go!

Another helping of desserts :) I think we had more desserts than main course.

Macho and I kindda like this pudding.. However, Joozie thought it tasted like.....Chicken! (Honey, you've got "impeccable" taste there!)

We rested for another round for a little chat before heading to the ice-cream section! They have this teppanyaki ice-cream where they actually mixed all the ingredients that you chose to have with your ice-cream..

I would say, we were all spoilt for choice in terms of the toppings.. They have choc chips, waffles, love letters, almonds , macadamias ..You name it, they got it!

After ice-creams, we took some pictures again before calling it a night! :) I would say this restaurant is a great place to dine in....Very attentive service and the food isn't bad too! Thank you Macho for bringing us there!

Finally... It is unwrapping presents time!! The BC , Yi Mei and Ru Chi got me an Esprit Watch ! I know this seriously does not come cheap ! And the wrapping is gorgeous, Joozie! Thank you so much , girls! But they were so naughty!! At first they gave me this nicely-wrap present.. Mana tau it's Macho's torn Garfield shirt! It even has curry stains on it! Ewwwwww.............

And then, when Macho sent me home, before I got off her car, she handed me another beautifully-wrapped gift.. She said , "Treat it as a birthday card to you".

However, I was curious cuz it too heavy for a card.. When I unwrapped it, a hot picture of me was staring back at me...It was a picture album of the Clan for the past two years printed on glossy pages!

As I flipped through the pages, all the memories that the Clan had spent together were coming back to me like it just happened yesterday. Geez, how time flies.. We have known each other for 2 and a half years already??? I definitely hope we could stay friends for many many many more years to come.

As I finished reading the message on the last page, I couldn't hold it anymore and I cried.. Of course, it was tears of joy! The message was so touching and I feel so lucky to you girls as my friends! And undeniably, you guys definitely painted colours into my life in different ways.

Without you, my university days would be dull as hell! (Remember our topic of bitching,the late night bitching sessions and the many first-times that we experienced together??) Thank you for being my friends! I could never thanked you guys enough!

Before I sign off, I would like to propose a "virtual" toast to my bitches : Angela, Yee Joo and Christine... Thank you for the wonderful birthday celebration and for being my bitches :)
