Ban Jia! Moving out!

Hey peeps,

I know it has been aaagggggeeeesssss since I updated my blog. Sorry lah for the lack of updates.

Could get my lazy hands to type :-p

And also been busy with work and as you can see from the title of this post.. Yes, I'm moving out. To a New Place :) Yessss.... I'm super psyched about it!!!!

If everything falls in place, we will be moving out on the 15th Of August (Anyone wanna help me out? Wakakkakaka, Just kidding guys!)

And the best part is.. I haven't even finish packing half of my room :-p

So guys, I'll be quite busy in these 2 weeks.. But I can still hang out you know, juz call me k :))

A Memorable Experience

Well guys.. Sorry for the lack of updates.. Heheheheh.. Well, I've been pretty caught up with work lately (ceh wahhhh....) .

For the past one month , I was like living in a suitcase. Hehehe.. Been getting outstation jobs for the past one month (hey, I'm not complaining ;-p)

So today I just got back from my estate visit in Malacca/Johore. Today is probably the earliest I got off from work. We actually left client's place around 12.30 p.m. (isn't that a miracle??) and then we roamed around town in search for good food, before departing for KL.

Well, I would say I kindda enjoyed this engagement before it's pretty much stress free. My first estate visit was pretty awesome :)

I got to ride on a bike, whilst doing asset sighting in the plantation :) Pretty cool, eh?

Hahah.. It was actually my first experience riding on a bike..And what's even cooler is that I get to see what a plantation looked like from inside!!! Another coolest thing is that I could be in 3 states in 30 minutes. Hahahaha.. That's because the plantation is located in Malacca/Johore/Negeri Sembilan border.

The estate visit has made me realised that we KLites have taken a lot of things for granted. I actually symphatize those foreign workers in the plantation. Although their roles are the most important to keep the business running, their pay are pretty minimal in comparison to those executives sitting in the head office in KL. Pretty unfair, isn't it?

Lousybro and I are off to Bali for some brother-sister bonding before we became too busy come March 16!

All's Well End's Well

Today I saw this CNY movie (as per my post title) with the two biatches Joozie & Macho at One U. I have to say that this comedy is beyond my expectations. Originally, we wanted to watch Bride Wars but the seats were too close to the screen.. So, we ended up with this Hong Kong Cantonese comedy.

I used to stereotypes CNY movie to be ridiculously stupid but today's comedy doesn't disappoint at all. They are funny, but their jokes make more sense than the ordinary CNY comedy. So, we all enjoyed the movie :)

The highlight of the day was definitely when all of us were playing cards at Joozie's. I really had the greatest fun! And of cos, I'm pretty happy with the overall outcome :D Well, actually we were supposed to be having porridge in Petaling Street now, unfortunately Cabor has to go home ( Another time,another day then).

I would definitely remember today because it's a day filled with excitement and surprises! I don't know what's with those who is under the Tiger zodiac, but they seemed to have bad luck with cars! Anyways, today Macho went a little cuckoo when she got Double Ace and Blackjack at the same time (apparently, she has two bets at the same time). She screamed like she hit the $1 mil jackpot!

Then, she also did some crazy chants to get more good luck. Hahaha, seriously it was scaring the sh*t out of us.Hahahahaha~

I really really really had a blast tonight. Hope we could have more of these next time. Not sure whether we'll still have time for each other after we all have started working. I, definitely hope we do :)

Revisiting Bangkok

The Sixth Day

Six days into the New Year and today is counted as one of the highlights in my 2009 already. Finally, my presentation for my thesis has ended. For those of you that aren't aware, there's a slight detour on my thesis previously. And because of the little detour, some good things were resulted from it. I guess things really happened for a reason, eh? Fortunately, all ended well.

So, I'll keep my fingers crossed and I'll be graduating!

p.s. I would love to thanked those who have gave me words of encouragement and advice during the detour period.

And I'm ready to go !!!!!

The day that we've been anticipating for almost a year, is finally here!

As of this moment, Macho and I are on a flight to Macau and Hong Kong ! Hope everything will run smoothly!



We promise we'll take lots and lots of pictures, eat like crazy and shop till we drop :)

And Now What???

You would think that I'm crazy for saying this but.... I actually miss the rush from studying at the 11th hour, cramming all the necessary knowledge for my finals..

And the most ironic part is that I can't sleep (That explains why I'm writing this entry at this hour) although exams are over. FYI, I have no problem dozing off right away during exam period. (OMG, I feel so abnormal!)

And I don't know why, but the feeling of being 'free from exams' hasn't really sunk in yet.

I was so looking forward for this day to arrive, but now that it's over.. I felt something is missing.It made me wonder, "Now What? What's Next?"

True, there are gazillion things that I wanna do, but now I feel less excited about them.

Probably because of THAT. And my messed-up sleeping cycle. And also maybe because my exam stress hasn't subside yet.

Nevertheless, I'm looking forward to my trip :)

p.s. I should probably hit the sack now..

Dissapearing Act

Firstly, I would like to apologize to my fellow readers (ceh wahhh, as if I have lotsa readers) for dissapearing for a month..

I know some of you have been visiting, probably wondering where I've been for the past one month (Hopefully, you've been missing me....Hehehe)

Good news ......is I'm still alive. Hahahaha..

And my finals are finally over (Wee!), but I can't rest on my laurels just yet.

Anyways, time to pack my bags ..And I can't wait to FLY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

So, D called me today for a little chat.. Was kindda surprised (in a good way,of cos) . I 've been meaning to call and ask her about the interview after I've finished with my thesis and all.. But today she took the liberty to call me just to catch up.. Found out that she got THE job. Congrats, girl! I knew you would succeed!

Knowing that she's gonna start working soon..It reminded me that we're all growing up really really fast.. The day when we're still in kindergarten and how we always take Uncle Meng's bus to BBGS just felt like yesterday. And now we're like 21... .And working soon.. OMG!

Anyways, Congratulations Diane!

All You've Gotta Do Is Ask...

I shouldn't be blogging at this hour right now, but I couldn't help it as I felt a sense of accomplishment within me right now. Nope, don't worry peeps, I HAVE NOT finish my thesis yet.So it's not that kind of accomplishment...

What I'm about to post is actually to praise the Polis Diraja Malaysia, particularly the police from the Ampang Jaya district. Yes, I know.. Some of you must have wonder why.....So, let me share my grandmother story with you.

Recently, there's this group of ferk up Indians that has been hanging out outside my house till the wee hours in the morning. Everytime, there'll be lotsa drinking and then suddenly they'll start a fight.

Just on Wednesday, as I was parking the car, right after I fetched Mom home from her night dancing class, there they go again. The fighting. Just a few metres from us.Mom and I quickly ran to our building and went upstairs, fearing that they'll go ballistic and hurt us.

Never mind that, because we weren't hurt and all. But today they really really went overboard. Blasting their car stereos, dancing away like nobody's business at 1 friggin' a.m. really pushed my buttons. Not to mention they woke up Dad and probably everyone else too. That's it. I've had enough.

I called the Ampang Jaya police. Initially, the guy who answered the phone wasn't really friendly and he sounded kindda lazy too. I couldn't blame him though, it's 1 in the morning .I probably woke him up too (Haha). So, I didn't put much hope on them. But I secretly prayed to my ancestors, hoping that the police will come.

After 15 minutes, my prayers were answered. Dad was calling me, saying that the police has come to our rescue. Wee!! Let the show begins, I said to myself.

Dad and I became audience to the interrogation. I couldn't be more happier, looking at the Indians, the fear on their face and their pathetic attempts to play dumb and be nice to the officer, trying to get off the hook. They should thanked their lucky stars that the officers let them off with only a warning.

Kudos should really be given to the police for their efficient services. After they have arrived at the scene, they actually called me to confirm on the complaint that I've made earlier , just to see whether they were at the right place.

Yeah so, lesson of the day is : Sometimes, all you've got to do is ask.. You might be surprised with the response that you're gonna get. It's so true.. I've encountered this kind of situation twice this week.

Izzi'ed

Okay, so this is old news.. But I've gotta tell you.. That I've been Izzi'ed. Haha ....What do I meant by Izzi'ed??? It means my blog was featured on Izzi Pizza's website.

I discovered this sometime in April/May, when I noticed that I've been having visitors coming from Izzi's website. I was surprised of course.. Why would anyone came from Izzi's website to my blog???

Turned out actually that the post that was linked from Izzi website is about my memories in 2007 (link).

Hmm, since we were featured, shouldn't we get any food vouchers from them for helping them to promote Izzi ??? ;-p

Besides, they didn't ask for our permission to feature us in their website. Hahahaha...

A girl can dream,okay?

No Wonder....

I used to sympathize her for not having any close friends in class. Also, I used to put myself in her shoes, and the thought of not having any friends that you could chilled out with, terrifies me. And it makes me wonder... Why she doesn't have any close friends in class?? How could anyone not have at least one close friend in college??

Today I finally sorted out that conundrum that has been on my mind. Her scheming ways totally put me off. No wonder she didn't get back to us about the Plan. Turned out that she has another plan of her own and she doesn't even bother to ask us about it.

The "funniest" part is that she even has the guts to ask another friend of mine for the VIP card. Call me a bitch, but if I have the VIP card.. I wouldn't lend it to her. Cuz first of all, she only treats us as friends with benefits (not the on-the-bed kind lah). And she's merely a classmate. Nothing more.

I'm so glad that my close friends are not like her.

The Guide To My Very Own Semester Break

Yay! Finally I'm free from exams and lectures! Well, not completely.. But 3 months are fine with me.. Better than nothing..

And since I've got plenty of time to kill, I came up with a list of things that I'm dying to do and I would have to do...

Keganasan!

Today I got a shocking sms from Yee Mun, which goes like this :

The sms sent chills down my spine. Can you imagine you were in the house when the robbers barged in just like that? I don't really know the exact details of how it happened, but according to Yee Mun, she actually just completed her assignment and hit the sack around 3 a.m. Around 2 hours later, the robbers were in the house, while they were sleeping. How scary is that???? Thank god nobody was injured or anything.

But kesian Yee Mun, cuz her laptop was stolen too..So, the assignment that she had just completed was gone too.

It goes to show that robbers nowadays are really aggressive that they even dare to break into your house eventhough you are in the house.

I hope this post serves as a reminder to everyone (especially those living in terrace houses) to be more cautious and alert given the rise of robbery cases nowadays.

p.s. If any of you have seen the a grey Toyota Camry with the number plate of WQS 7218 , kindly inform me or the police. Thanks.

Izzi Madness

A couple of days ago, I got a sms from a number that I don't know. It showed +31333888. Feeling slightly quaint, I read the sms and it goes like this:

Immediately I read the sms , there was sudden cravings for Izzi . So my dear BC , when are we visiting Izzi???? *_^

p.s. I haven't the faintest idea how they got my number. But moments later only did I recall that I actually gave it to them during my visit there with Matty & Melly.

p.s. Today while reading the Bangkok Post,I was so shocked to discover that Heath Ledger was dead on Tuesday due to O.D. on sleeping pills.Pretty heartbreaking to hear the news....He's so talented...
